Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Glimmedic (operated by Glimmedic Healthcare Technologies, “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

Glimmedic is an AI-powered healthcare technology platform that provides:

• For Patients: A marketplace to find, contact, and book appointments with independent, verified healthcare professionals.
• For Practitioners: Clinical management tools including AI ambient scribe, patient tracking, IVF cycle management, scheduling, and a marketplace listing.

Glimmedic is NOT a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions are made solely by the independent practitioners on the platform.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Practitioners must hold a valid licence from a recognised regulatory body (e.g. MDCN for Nigeria, GMC for UK).

Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at Glimmedic@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accurate information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and keep your profile up to date.

Practitioner verification: Healthcare professionals are required to submit proof of registration. Glimmedic may suspend or remove unverified listings at any time.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your qualifications
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent security measures
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content, including fake reviews
• Use AI tools to generate false medical records or fraudulent documentation

Healthcare professionals listed on Glimmedic are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Glimmedic. Glimmedic does not supervise, direct, or control the clinical activities of any practitioner.

Glimmedic accepts no liability for clinical decisions, misdiagnoses, treatment outcomes, or any harm arising from interactions between patients and practitioners facilitated through the platform.

Practitioners are solely responsible for maintaining their professional indemnity insurance and compliance with their regulatory body.

Patient bookings: Glimmedic does not process payments between patients and practitioners. Consultation fees are set by practitioners and collected directly. Glimmedic is not responsible for any financial disputes between patients and practitioners.

Practitioner subscriptions: Platform subscription fees are billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. See our Pricing page for current rates.

Free trial: New practitioner accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. After the trial period, a subscription is required to continue accessing paid features.

All content, design, code, AI models, and branding on Glimmedic are owned by or licensed to Glimmedic Healthcare Technologies. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Patient data and clinical notes you create remain yours. You grant Glimmedic a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Glimmedic's AI features (ambient scribe, clinical co-pilot, IVF predictor, symptom guidance) are decision-support tools only. They do not replace clinical judgement. Practitioners are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and acting on any AI-generated content.

AI outputs may contain errors. Always verify AI-generated notes and recommendations before using them in clinical practice or patient communication.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glimmedic shall not be liable for:

• Any clinical outcomes resulting from use or misuse of the platform
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity
• Any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Service interruptions, bugs, or downtime

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the platform.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. For users in the United Kingdom, EU, or other jurisdictions, applicable local consumer protection laws also apply.

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to mediation or binding arbitration as agreed by both parties.
